You can filter and use the charts and tables on pre-built dashboards to visualize data, or download the data to analyze using your own tools.
SlickText’s pre-built dashboards are organized to allow you to focus your analysis on key parts of the entire audience lifecycle: audience growth, composition and behavior, campaign performance, and inbox engagement and interactions.

Features of SlickText Charts and Tables
SlickText’s pre-built dashboards provide several ways to visualize data.
- Tables or pie charts are snapshots of the data as it exists at that time, such as Contacts by Opt-in Status.
- Other charts show data as it changes over time, such as New Contacts by Source.
Here’s how to select a date range to see the data displayed over a time period:
- Click the dropdown in the top right corner of the chart and select a time period.
- Choose a pre-defined range, such as today, this quarter, or last month.
- Or, define a custom range, enter the date ranges, and click Update. You can also define frequency here.
- Click on the 3 dots next to the date range dropdown and select Settings to make changes
Some charts that depict data over time allow for comparisons to other time periods. To compare time periods:
- Click on the 3 dots next to the date range dropdown and select Settings. If the chart does not have settings as an option or the comparison dropdown is grayed out, then it does not allow for comparisons.
- Click the Compared To Dropdown and select the time period.
- Previous Time Period – SlickText will display the data for the previous period. For example, if you are looking at February data, selecting Previous Month will show January’s data overlaid on the chart with February.
- Previous Year – SlickText will display the same time period from last year. If you are looking at this week’s data, selecting Previous Year will show the same week from last year overlaid on the chart.
- If Compared To is grayed out, then the chart does not support comparisons or the selected date range does not allow for comparisons.
Most of the information in charts can be downloaded as either an image or data.
- Choose the Download icon in the top right hand corner of the chart. If the chart does not have a download icon, then the information cannot be downloaded.
- Select either Download Data or Download Image.
- Download Data – the numbers behind the chart will download as a .csv.
- Download Image – an image of the chart will download.
Some charts show data broken down by certain data variables in SlickText. These variables will be listed in a legend and color-coded. Click on a variable to temporarily hide it on the chart. Click on it again to unhide it.
