Upgrade My Plan or Purchase More Messages

Every SlickText plan comes with an allotment of message credits. As you realize greater success with your SMS program and see an increase in your subscribers, you will likely find that you need more messages. There are two ways to purchase more messages: upgrade your plan or buy bulk message credits. Because upgrading your plan typically provides a better price per text, it is usually the best option. However, in some cases, such as seasonal or one-time needs for more messages, buying in bulk is the way to go.

Upgrading a Plan

You can upgrade your plan at any time. You do not need to wait until your renewal date, and your renewal date will not change. If you are upgrading from a paid plan, SlickText will add the additional messages (difference between the new plan and your existing plan) and charge you the difference. You will not lose any accumulated rollovers. 

  1. Log in to SlickText and click on your name and brand at the bottom left. Choose Manage Billing
  2. On the Manage Billing page, choose Plan.
  3. Click Change Plan.
  4. Select the plan you want to purchase.

If you are upgrading from a free trial, SlickText will charge the amount of the plan and reset your messages to the amount of the plan. This will be the start of your subscription term. 

Purchasing More Messages

You can purchase additional message credits at any time. Message credits you purchase in bulk will automatically be added to your balance of standard message credits.

  1. Log in to SlickText and click on your name and brand at the bottom left. Choose Manage Billing.
  2. On the Manage Billing page, choose Purchase Messages. If you do not see this option, contact Customer Support.
  3. Enter the number of message credits you wish to purchase.
  4. Click Complete Purchase.
