# Upgrade My Plan or Purchase More Messages

Every SlickText plan includes a set number of message credits. As your SMS program grows and your subscriber list expands, you may need more. There are two ways to get more message credits on SlickText: upgrade your plan or purchase bulk message credits. Upgrading your plan typically offers a lower cost per text and is the best long-term choice. For seasonal or one-time needs, purchasing bulk message credits is a flexible alternative.

### **Upgrading a Plan**

You can upgrade your plan at any time. You do not need to wait until your renewal date, and your renewal date will not change. If you are upgrading from a paid plan, SlickText will add the prorated difference in message credits between your new and current plan — and you will only be charged the prorated cost difference. You will not lose any accumulated rollover credits (unused message credits that carry over from a previous billing period). 

1. Log in to SlickText and click on your name and brand in the bottom-left corner. Choose **Plan & Billing**.
2. On the Manage Billing page, choose **Plan**.
3. Click **Change Plan**.
4. Select the plan you want to upgrade to.

If you are upgrading from a free trial, SlickText will charge the full plan price and reset your message credits to the plan's included amount. This will be the start of your billing cycle. 

### **Purchasing More Messages**

You can purchase additional message credits at any time. Message credits you purchase in bulk will automatically be added to your balance of standard message credits.

1. Log in to SlickText and click on your name and brand in the bottom-left corner. Choose **Plan & Billing**.
2. On the Manage Billing page, choose **Purchase Messages**.
3. Enter the number of message credits you wish to purchase.
4. Click **Complete Purchase**.
