Add the SlickText Tag to Your Website to Power SlickText Functionality

The SlickText Tag is a light-weight code snippet that powers SlickText-related functionality on your website. Add the SlickText tag to your website to allow SlickText to track visitor behavior, browsing activity, and cart abandonment for eCommerce. It can powers online forms such as popups and attribute revenue generated to your campaigns and workflows.

 To use the SlickText Tag:  

1. From the Dashboard, click on your name in the bottom left corner and choose Settings. 
2. On the Settings page, click on SlickText Tag.
3. Copy the SlickText Tag code snippet.
4. Paste the code snippet into every page of your site, just before the closing </head> tag. 
   
   

Allowed Domains

You can control which websites your installed SlickText Tag will function on. Add one or more domains in the provided field and press Enter after each entry. The tag will then only run on those specified sites. Hit Save after making any settings changes.

If no domains are added, the SlickText Tag will function on any site where it’s installed.

Permissions

To use features that require website session tracking, you’ll need to enable Track Website Sessions. Turning this on allows the SlickText Tag to capture session activity from your site visitors. With this enabled, SlickText can:

• Identify known contacts when they visit your site.

• Track visitor activity (such as page views, cart changes, or checkout starts).

• Trigger workflows when a visitor abandons a session, cart, or checkout.
