Make it Easy to Subscribe with Mobile Tap-to-Join Links

Tap-to-join links provide a convenient way for people to opt in to receive your text messages. When people on mobile devices tap on a tap-to-join link, their device will populate a text message with a specific keyword. Then, they simply send the text to subscribe. If the person is not on a mobile device, you can define a fallback url to send them to a specific webpage instead.

Use a tap-to-join link when you advertise in social media posts and emails to provide a seamless subscriber experience.

Create a Tap-to-Join Link

1. From the SlickText Dashboard, click on Tools.
2. Once you’re on the Tools page, click Tap-to-Join Links.
3. Once on the Tap-to-Join Link page, click Create Link.
4. Enter a name. Don’t worry, this name will only be seen by you.
5. Then select a keyword. 
6. Add a non-mobile fallback URL If someone who is not using a mobile device (for example, they are on a laptop) clicks on this link, it will direct them to this webpage.
7. Click Save.
