Integrating SlickText with GetResponse

SlickText’s GetResponse integration allows you to create contacts and update contact information in GetResponse using data you collect in SlickText.

Before We Begin

Integrating SlickText and GetResponse requires you to have an account with both platforms. It’s also important to note that SlickText has a minimum contact requirement of a mobile phone number, while GetResponse requires an email address. In order to sync contacts from SlickText to GetResponse, you must first ensure that your contacts in SlickText have an associated email address.

Note:

Field updates in GetResponse do not push back to SlickText.

Connecting your SlickText And GetResponse Accounts

Before you can sync contacts from your SlickText to your GetResponse account, you’ll need to give SlickText permission to access your GetResponse account. Here’s how:

  1. From the Dashboard, click on your name in the bottom left corner and choose Settings
  2. On the Settings page, click on Integrations.
  3. Scroll through the list of integrations and click on GetResponse.
  4. In the top right corner of the page, click the Install button, then click Install again to confirm.
  5. If you have GetResponse open in another tab, you will be prompted to authorize SlickText to access your GetResponse account. Click “Yes”. If not, you will be prompted to log in to GetResponse.
  6. After you grant SlickText access to GetResponse the GetResponse install will be confirmed in SlickText.
  7. If the integration is successful, you’ll be brought back to SlickText to configure the contact fields to sync.

Syncing Contact Data from SlickText to GetResponse

Once you have the integration installed, SlickText will automatically map the following fields to GetResponse if the fields are populated with data in SlickText:

  • Email
  • Full Name

Note:

If you wish to map a SlickText Field to a different GetResponse Field, you can select a different field. 

After you click Save, these SlickText fields will start syncing with GetResponse. 

Syncing Additional Contact Fields

In addition to syncing the default SlickText fields that automatically map to GetResponse fields, you can sync more contact fields, including Custom Fields you create in SlickText. To sync additional contact fields:

  1. Click +Add Contact Field.
  2. Select a SlickText field.
  3. Select the GetResponse field you want to sync with it.

If you don’t see a field you need to sync in SlickText:

  1. Open up another browser tab and create a Custom Field.
  2. Go back to your GetResponse integration settings and click Refresh Fields.
  3. Select the new custom field and the GetResponse field you want to sync it to.
