Before We Begin

Integrating SlickText and Constant Contact requires you to have an account with both platforms. It’s also important to note that SlickText has a minimum contact requirement of a mobile phone number, while Constant Contact requires an email address. In order to sync contacts from SlickText to Constant Contact, you must first ensure that your contacts in SlickText have an associated email address. 

Connecting your SlickText And Constant Contact Accounts

Before you can sync contacts from your SlickText to your Constant Contact account, you’ll need to give SlickText permission to access your Constant Contact account. Here’s how:

1. From the Dashboard, click on your name in the bottom left corner and choose Settings. 
2. On the Settings page, click on Integrations.
3. Scroll through the list of integrations and click on Constant Contact.
4. In the top right corner of the page, click the Install button, then click Install again to confirm.
5. If you have Constant Contact open in another tab, you will not be prompted for login. If not, you will be prompted to log in to Constant Contact.
6. After you log in to Constant Contact you will be prompted to allow the connection. 
7. If the integration is successful, you’ll be brought back to SlickText to configure the contact fields to sync.

Syncing Contact Data from SlickText to Constant Contact

Once you have the integration installed, SlickText will automatically map the following fields to Constant Contact if the fields are populated with data in SlickText:

• Postal Code
• City
• Email
• State/Province
• Address
• Country
• Birthday
• Lat Name
• First Name 
• Mobile Number

After you click Save, these SlickText fields will start syncing with Constant Contact.  

Syncing Additional Contact Fields

In addition to syncing the default SlickText fields that automatically map to Constant Contact fields, you can sync more contact fields, including Custom Fields you create in SlickText. To sync additional contact fields:

1. Click +Add Contact Field.
2. Select a SlickText field.
3. Select the Constant Contact field you want to sync with it.

If you don’t see a field you need to sync in SlickText:

1. Open up another browser tab and create a Custom Field.
2. Go back to your Constant Contact integration settings and click Refresh Fields.
3. Select the new custom field and the Constant Contact field you want to sync it to.
