Add them to your printed materials, signage, or wherever you advertise:

  • Digital signage
  • Business cards
  • Product packaging
  • In-store signage

Note:

If your QR code is being used to opt someone in for recurring text messages, make sure you include the required compliance statement along with the QR code. Learn more about compliance tools here.

Choosing a QR code type

SlickText has 3 types of QR codes you can choose depending on your data collection requirements.

  • Text a Keyword — This QR code type will populate a text message to your number with a specific keyword. The keyword will either create and subscribe a contact and send an auto-reply message or send a one-time message. If texting the keyword creates a contact, only the phone number will be collected.
  • Send people to a Landing Page — Send the person to a web form to fill out before they subscribe. This is helpful if you need to collect additional information besides someone’s phone number as part of the contact creation process.
  • Send people to a URL — Use this if you want to send the person to a website.
